Cordel expands and extends contract with Australian Rail Track Corp

Cordel Group PLC on Tuesday said it has extended its existing pact with the Australian Rail Track Corp to August 2026.

The London-based transport corridor analytics platform said the collaboration is the first large-scale commercial deployment of its unattended infrastructure monitoring solution.

The company said the new extension includes network wide light direction and ranging, video and clearance assessments.

The financial details of the contract were not disclosed.

‘We’re delighted with the continuing success of our partnership with ARTC, which has validated our technology and pushed us to innovate and improve continually. We’re excited to continue this journey, driving efficiency and safety in rail operations in Australia and globally,’ said Chief Executive Officer John Davis.

Shares in Cordel were down 5.3% at 6.25 pence in London on Tuesday afternoon.
