Wise Group PLC on Friday said it expects revenue growth for its full financial year to be in the upper half of its target range and income before tax margin near the top, as it posted financial results for the second quarter.

The London-based money-transfer services provider said it had 12.5 million active customers as of September 30, the end of its financial second quarter, up 20% from a year previous.

Second-quarter net revenue was USD739.1 million, up 21% from USD610.5 million a year before, while cross-border currency transfer volume was USD71.7 billion, rising 22% from USD59.0 billion.

Chief Executive Officer Kristo Kaarmann said "We continued to expand our network, products and features so Wise can serve more people and businesses around the world. This quarter, we went live in Malaysia with our ninth direct integration, launched the Wise Account and Wise Card in Thailand, introduced Wise Assets in New Zealand and announced our Wise Platform partnership with OakNorth to power international payments for its UK business customers."

Looking ahead, Wise said it expects financial 2027 net revenue to grow by 17.5% to 20% on a constant currency basis, implying about USD2.94 billion to USD3.00 billion in the year ending March 31, 2027, based on financial 2026 net revenue of USD2.50 billion.

Wise continues to expect its full-year income before tax margin to be around the top of its 20% to 25% target range. For the first half, it expects a margin of about 23%, equivalent to approximately USD334 million on net revenue of USD1.45 billion.

This includes one-off expenses equivalent to about two percentage points of revenue, including around USD15 million related to its dual listing in New York and London.

"We are building the network for the world's money - making Wise easier, cheaper and faster to use as we scale," Kaarman added.

Shares in Wise were down 1.9% to 885.40 on Friday afternoon in London. They were down 2.3% in pre-market trading at USD11.82 each in New York.
