EARNINGS AND TRADING: EDX loss widens; B Hodl buys BTC

The following is a round-up of earnings and trading updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Bezant Resources PLC - copper and gold exploration company with projects in Africa, South America and the Philippines - Updates on the development of the Hope & Gorob copper-gold project in Namibia and the associated Tsoaxaub Metals processing plant. Says development activities at both Tsoaxaub and Hope & Gorob continue to progress on schedule. Bezant expects first run-of-mine ore to be processed through the repurposed Tsoaxaub plant during September 2026 which will generate the first concentrate from the Hope and Gorob mine. Additionally, believes the project could now support a life of mine of 35 years. "In light of the increased LOM referred to below the company has accelerated its review of the Phase II expansion plan taking into account current and projected long-term copper, gold and silver prices. The review indicates that a material proportion of delineated low-grade mineralisation, together with mineralisation located both within and outside the current pit shell and previously considered sub-economic, now warrant inclusion in development planning as part of the Company's Mineral Inventory. In parallel, management is assessing a higher mass-pull operating strategy for the ore sorter," company says.

----------

Blackbird PLC - London-based video technology company - Says as a result of improved conversion metrics, net paid elevate.io subscriber growth accelerates sharply in August. Back in May, Blackbird deployed its elevate.io go to market strategy. Says the GTM has included "some modest marketing expenditure" since mid-July This has resulted in: an increase in conversion rates of free users to paid subscribers to 2.67% from less than 1.0% in August 2026, "reflecting the benefits of the product refinements implemented this year"; and 65% decrease in customer acquisition costs, "indicating the effectiveness of the company's marketing strategy for elevate.io." Records a 75% increase in paid subscribers to 696 since March. "The board is cautiously optimistic that the current subscription velocity can be maintained alongside an appropriate level of marketing support," company says.

----------

EDX Medical Group PLC - Cambridge, England-based developer of digital diagnostic products and services - Pretax loss in year to March 31 widens to £5.8 million from £3.7 million. 2026 revenue jumps to £330,541 from £122,608. Administrative costs rise to £5.5 million from £4.4 million. "As we continue to pursue our strategic goals we increasingly see both consumers and healthcare professionals embracing the new tools and technologies being pioneered by EDX....The group is building an attractive pipeline of advanced tests and services which offer clear clinical utility, and which will be offered as both ISO-accredited laboratory assay services and in the future, as regulated in-vitro diagnostic tests or Point of Care devices. We remain committed to a balanced growth strategy, pursuing acquisition, licensing or distribution partnerships with teams or companies who have developed innovative assets that EDX can validate to regulatory standards and bring to market. The directors believe that EDX has established itself as a viable digital diagnostics provider in the UK and a partner of choice to a number of organisations with ambitions to now grow into Europe," company says.

----------

Futura Medical PLC - Guildford, England-based pharmaceutical company - Conditionally raises £1.6 million gross by way of a placing and a subscription of 801.0 million shares at 0.2 pence per share. Additionally, agrees to issue up to 204.9 million warrants to Turner Pope Investments Ltd. "Completion of the fundraise is expected to provide cash resources into February 2027 which would allow the company to explore an M&A and formal sale process, as detailed later in this announcement, and continue executing on its strategy in the near term; however additional funding would be required to realise fully the commercial potential of its portfolio. Taking this into account, together with the commercial and development milestones achieved in recent months which have reduced uncertainty surrounding the business, the company's current market valuation does not, in the opinion of the board of directors, adequately reflect the strategic value and commercial potential of its portfolio," Futura says.

----------

Rockfire Resources PLC - London-based mining firm targeting metals and critical minerals, with assets in Australia as well as Greece - Recommences diamond drilling at its Molaoi zinc deposit in Greece. Preliminary results from comminution test work measure Molaoi ore as 'medium-hard' with a drop weight index of 8.66 kilowatt-hours per tonne. Notes that semi-autogenous grinding mills typically draw between 6 kWh/t and 12 kWh/t of energy to grind rock. "The Molaoi ore energy requirement sits well within the standard energy consumption range for global mining projects," Rockfire says.

----------

B Hodl PLC - Douglas, Isle of Man-based company focused on bitcoin accumulation - Buys 1 BTC for £57,680.15 with the proceeds of its second at-the-market equity offering of 600,000 shares at 8.06 pence each. Announces a third ATM offering for 600,000 shares.
