Fevara completes PS4.3 million buy of Brazil production facility

Fevara PLC on Wednesday said it has completed the acquisition of a nutrition products production facility and operating business in Sao Paulo state, Brazil.

The Carisle, UK-based animal feeding manufacturer said the £4.3 million acquisition, which primarily comprises freehold property, will enable local production of its high-margin nutrition products tailored for the Brazilian market.

The deal complements the December 2025 purchase of Macal, which serves customers in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Fevara also plans to expand distribution into Goias and Minas Gerais.

The acquisition was funded from Fevara’s existing resources. £4.0 million of the total consideration relates to the freehold property and the remainder for the existing operating business.

Further deferred consideration is due in March 2027, dependent on the performance of the acquired business during 2026 and will be self-funded.

Fevara said the expansion will provide access to a population of around 100 million head of beef cattle, positioning it to scale its presence in Brazil, which has more than 200 million cattle and recently surpassed the US as the world’s largest beef producer.

Chief Executive Joshua Hoopes said: ‘This acquisition marks a further significant step for Fevara within the strategically important Brazilian market following the recent acquisition of Macal. By adding low-moisture block production capability to this facility, we will be strategically positioned to accelerate the rollout of our specialist livestock nutrition products and serve customers across the region.’

Fevara shares closed up 4.7% at 135.00 pence each in London on Wednesday.
