Home REIT confirms PS123.0 million asset sale exclusivity agreement

Home REIT PLC on Thursday confirmed it has struck an exclusivity agreement with London-based real estate investment firm Patron Capital Partners to sell the majority of its assets.

The London-based investor in the UK social housing sector said the terms of the disposal are not yet finalised, but it confirmed that the indicated price is £123.0 million for around 700 of its 853 properties.

Home REIT said the remaining properties in its portfolio were valued at £18.3 million in the draft valuation report from real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle Inc at the end of August.

‘While discussions are ongoing with Patron Capital, there can be no certainty that a transaction will be agreed upon or as to the final terms of any such agreement, and this update should not be construed as announcing a transaction,’ Home REIT said.

The sales process is expected to conclude in the fourth quarter of 2025 or early 2026, the firm added.

Home REIT shares are suspended in London.
