Home REIT continues rent collection ahead of wind down

Home REIT PLC on Thursday gave an update on rent collection as its managed wind down progresses.

The London-based investor in the UK’s social housing sector said rent collection in April was around £1.1 million, while it has no debt as it fully repaid loans and fees to Scottish Widows.

The company said house prices continued to be resilient as some regions and sub-sectors attracted increased investment, but noted that economic uncertainties persisted.

Home REIT added there have been no material changes to the potential shareholder group litigation or the Financial Conduct Authority investigation in recent months.

Home REIT shares are suspended in London.
