Hugo Boss CFO and COO Yves Muller resigns for personal reasons

Hugo Boss AG on Monday said Yves Muller had stepped down as chief financial officer and chief operating officer "at his own request."

The Metzingen, Germany-based designer fashion brand said Ivica Maric, executive vice president of business operations since 2023, would assume Muller's responsibilities as finance and operations board member from October 1.

Muller joined Hugo Boss as CFO in December 2017 and became COO in May 2022.

Michael Murray, who was appointed chair earlier in September and is also chief executive officer of Frasers Group PLC, said: "I would like to thank Yves Muller for his commitment and contribution to Hugo Boss over the past several years. We are grateful for his achievements and wish him all the very best for both his professional and personal future."

Murray added: "Ivica Maric has many years of experience both in the financial management of the company and with regard to our operations. In addition, in recent years he has implemented and driven key digitalisation and efficiency projects and therefore brings the expertise required for this position."

Hugo Boss Chief Executive Officer Daniel Grieder also thanked Muller and said: "I look forward to continuing our good collaboration with Ivica Maric in his new role."

Shares in Hugo Boss were up 0.4% to EUR38.29 on Monday in Frankfurt.
