Irish industrial output falls 1.7% on-quarter in final quarter of 2025

Industrial production in Ireland declined in the final quarter of 2025, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Thursday.

Output in manufacturing industries fell 1.7% on-quarter in the fourth quarter, but was 7.2% higher on-year.

Irish turnover in manufacturing industries contracted by 9.6% on-quarter in the fourth quarter, while the annual decline was 10%.

The statistics office said that the modern sector experienced an annual increase of 9.5% in production in the fourth quarter, while the traditional sector declined by 3.6% on-year.
