Kanabo makes significant headway with UK expansion plans

Kanabo Group PLC on Tuesday said it will open 14 new associated in-pharmacy clinics across the UK.

The London-based distributor of cannabis derived medical products will expand in partnership with Treat-It, Kanabo’s online pain and mental health clinic, to offer cannabis treatments to patients.

Chief Executive Avihu Tamir commented: ‘We are demonstrating relentless progress based on our expansion plan set in our previous financial reports in achieving the target of 10 new clinics by the end of quarter 3.

‘This step will expand our reach to patients both online and in-person consultations, providing safe access to medical cannabis for those patients who will benefit from these treatments.’

In addition, Kanabo announced the signing of over 150 referral pharmacies that will connect patients to the Treat-It, and the company today opened a physical clinic in partnership with 360 Med Medical Centre in Muswell Hill, London.

Kanabo shares were flat at 1.55 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
