LPA Group hails "healthy pipeline" and upgrades annual guidance

LPA Group PLC shares spiked on Friday after the company lifted its full-year outlook on the backdrop of "strong trading".

Shares in the Essex, England-based LPA Group rose 5.8% to 82.00 pence on Friday around noon.

The engineering company focused on electronic systems and LED lighting said in a trading update it expects adjusted revenue and profit for the financial year ending September 30 to beat market expectations.

The upgrade was driven by "strong performance" achieved in the first half which had continued into the second half, said Chief Executive Officer Philo Daniel‑Tran.

The company said pretax profit would also increase thanks to the accelerated payment of a contract due to a change in customer requirements.

In financial 2025, LPA Group had achieved revenue of £21.5 million and a pretax loss of £602,000.

Daniel‑Tran added: "Looking ahead to the next financial year we have a healthy pipeline of opportunities, and our continued move to a 'one LPA' remains on track."

LPA Group did not update its guidance for financial 2027.
