Netcall ups payout as adjusted pretax profit rises; outlook optimistic
Netcall PLC on Wednesday said its new financial year started well and "favourable" market dynamics with demand being boosted by automation and artificial intelligence, as adjusted profit climbed.
The Bedford, England-based digital automation and customer engagement company said pretax profit fell 31% to £3.5 million in the financial year ended June 30, from £5.1 million a year ago.
Adjusted pretax profit however climbed 19% to £9.9 million from £8.3 million.
Administrative costs increased 29% to £45.0 million from £34.9 million, while cost of sales were up 17% at £9.5 million from £8.1 million.
Notably, the company had costs of £2.1 million regarding share-based payments, up from £929,000 a year ago.
Further, post-completion services costs were £2.3 million, sharply higher than £839,000 in financial year 2025. Netcall said that £600,000 of said costs in financial 2026 were due to its acquisition of Jadu Holdings Ltd, which it completed in December 2025.
Total revenue rose 20% to £57.7 million from £48.0 million.
The company announced a final dividend per share of 1.10 pence, up 17% from 0.94p a year prior.
Looking ahead, Netcall said: "Netcall has started FY27 well, with trading since the financial year end in line with management expectations. Market dynamics remain favourable, with demand for Cloud, automation and AI continuing to drive Liberty adoption and Cloud migration. Netcall has multiple paths to long-term growth, including existing customers adopting more products and AI capabilities and extending Liberty across additional workflows, winning more organisations across sizeable core markets with similar service challenges, and, over time, expanding into adjacent sectors and geographies. Subscription growth and the full-year benefit of Jadu cost savings provide further operating leverage.
It added: "With strong momentum, a record sales pipeline and improved visibility over FY27 revenue from the contracted revenue order book, the Board remains confident in the group’s future prospects.
Netcall shares were 0.4% higher at 125.48 pence each on Wednesday afternoon in London.
