Ondine Biomedical names Alan Thomas as interim chief financial officer

Ondine Biomedical Inc on Friday appointed Alan Thomas as its non-board interim chief financial officer, effective immediately.

The Vancouver, Canada-based life sciences company said Michael Behlke ‘is stepping down from his role as CFO & [chief operating officer] for personal reasons’.

Thomas was previously CFO at Maximus Canada Inc, a division of Virginia-based government services company Maximus Inc.

Interim CFO Thomas said: ‘Ondine is entering an exciting phase of development, with growing momentum behind its breakthrough technology.

‘I’m looking forward to working with the team to help drive the company’s strategic and financial objectives forward.’

Ondine said chief operating officer duties will be assumed by the current executive management.

Shares in Ondine Biomedical were down 3.9% at 8.65 pence in London on Friday afternoon.
