Patria Private Equity appoints Duncan Budge as chair to replace Devine

Patria Private Equity Trust PLC on Wednesday said Duncan Budge has been appointed chair following the conclusion of its annual general meeting.

The Edinburgh, Scotland-based investment company managed by Patria Capital Partners LLP said Budge succeeds Alan Devine, who has stepped down from his role as director and chair.

Devine first took on the role of chair in March 2022. He has been a director of the company since May 2014.

Incoming Chair Duncan Budge first joined the board in February 2025.

‘I am delighted that Duncan Budge will be taking over me from as chair of the board. He is a worthy successor given his extensive experience as a chair and in the private equity sector and I will continue to support PPET’s growth and future success as a shareholder,’ said outgoing chair Alan Devine.

Shares in Patria Private Equity Trust were up 1.4% at 578.00 pence on Wednesday afternoon in London.
