Premier Miton Group PLC will appoint Christopher Williams as its next chair this week, Sky News reported Wednesday.

Williams is set to succeed current Chair Robert Colthorpe at the Guildford, Surrey-based asset management firm.

Williams has worked as an adviser at Citigroup Inc, Credit Suisse and Perella Weinberg Partners. Further, he advised the UK government on the bailout of the UK’s largest banks during the 2008 financial crisis.

Sky said his appointment is expected to be announced alongside full-year results on Thursday.

Premier Miton shares were 1.5% lower at 57.60 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.
