PRESS: Unilever to sell bandage brand Welly Health for undisclosed sum

Unilever PLC will sell its Welly Health PBC bandage brand to Connecticut-based private equity firm Forward Consumer Partners, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.

The London-based consumer goods company did not disclose financial figures.

Unilever had bought Welly in 2021 from co-founder Eric Ryan for an undisclosed price. The brand includes adhesive bandages and first-aid kits. Welly is part of Unilever's beauty and well-being unit, which includes Dove, Paula's Choice and Vaseline.

Meanwhile, Forward Consumer Partners announced the return of Eric Ryan to the business as a strategic advisor and member of the company board.

Unilever shares were flat at 4,904.50 pence each on Tuesday afternoon in London.
