PRESS: Young & Co's Brewery to buy Cubitt House for PS30 million

Young & Co’s Brewery PLC has agreed to a deal to buy a portfolio, Sky News reported Tuesday afternoon.

The London-based pub and hotel operator in the south of England will acquire Cubitt House in the region of £30 million, from private equity investors behind Stonegate Group, the UK’s largest pubs operator. The acquisition will be funded from Young & Co’s Brewery existing cash resources.

Cubitt House is a collection of eight pubs in central London, located in Belgravia, Chelsea, Marylebone, Mayfair and Notting Hill.

Cubitt House’s venues are The Thomas Cubitt, The Builders Arms, The Coach Makers Arms, The Princess Royal, the Barley Mow, The Orange, The Alfred Tennyson, and The Grazing Goat.

Young & Co’s Brewery shares closed 1.4% lower at 769.00 pence each on Tuesday in London.
