Seed Capital still working to buy Cuarta Dimension; return to trading
Seed Capital Solutions PLC on Monday announced a widened interim loss, as it incurred higher administrative expenses.
The London-based special acquisition vehicle focused on environmental, social, and governance credentialed firms, reported income of £33,600 in the six months to December 31, compared to zero a year prior and £111,400 at the end of the financial year last June.
It also recorded £557,600 in administrative expenses, bringing the half-year pretax loss to £524,000, more than tripling from £158,000 year-on-year.
The company said that it is finalising the documentation for completing the acquisition of Valencia, Spain-based artificial intelligence-diagnostic firm Cuarta Dimension Medica SL by issuing new ordinary shares.
It will subsequently apply to be readmitted to the London Stock Exchange as an enlarged group operating as ‘a leading AI-drive diagnostics business, initially focused on the veterinary sector with scope to expand into the wider healthcare market’, Chair Damion Greef said.
Seed Capital shares are suspended in London since May 28, when it announced the proposed acquisition of Cuarta Dimension Medica.
