SulNOx shares rise as partners with Pakistan-based Skyzone

SulNOx Group PLC on Tuesday reported its entry into Pakistan through a distribution deal with Skyzone Technologies Pvt Ltd.

SulNOx is a London-based green fuel technology developer, which described Skyzone as ‘a Pakistan-based energy and industrial solutions provider with operations spanning chemicals, diesel genset systems and solar-based energy microgrids’.

The two firms’ customer bases are aligned, SulNOx said, adding that Skyzone ‘has established relationships within government-related supply chains, including transport and defence-linked sectors’.

SulNOx shares traded 33% higher at 59.84 pence on Tuesday morning on the Aquis Exchange.

It also noted a market assessment which Skyzone has undertaken, for an initial diesel genset user. This is for a commercial evaluation programme to address electricity supply issues in Pakistan.

SulNOx sees the agreement providing ‘access to a significant diesel-powered industrial market where fuel efficiency, operating costs and energy reliability are increasingly pressing concerns.’

It follows partnerships which the London-based firm has announced in India and Sri Lanka.

SulNOx Chief Executive Ben Richardson commented: ‘Pakistan completes a strong month for Sulnox across South Asia and represents what we believe is a particularly significant market opportunity.’

‘The scale of diesel dependency in Pakistan is structural, driven by chronic grid instability rather than preference, and that creates a direct and immediate case for Sulnox’s technology. Skyzone brings engineering credibility, established relationships across industrial and government sectors, and has already identified initial evaluation opportunities. We look forward to developing a meaningful presence in the market.’
