TRADING UPDATES: AB Dynamics buys eMpulse; Mila hails Monal results

The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

AB Dynamics PLC - Wiltshire, England-based supplier of advanced testing, simulation and measurement products company - Announces acquisition of eMpulse Test Systems LLC, which designs and supplies advanced servoelectric test systems to the global automotive industry for applications in noise, vibration and harshness, among others. The initial consideration is USD11.0 million, with a contingent consideration of up to USD15.0 million to be payable in cash across three tranches for three years after acquisition completion, subject to meeting performance criteria in each performance period. AB Dynamics says the acquisition supports its expansion in the Testing Products division, in particular in relation to laboratory testing equipment, "where eMpulse's product portfolio is seen as highly complementary to the group's existing servoelectric test system offering, the Suspension Parameter Measurement Machine." AB Dynamics Chief Executive Officer Sarah Matthews-DeMers says: "eMpulse has a first-class reputation for providing testing products to its North American original equipment manufacturer customer base and we look forward to leveraging the established global customer relationships and sales capabilities of AB Dynamics to drive cross-selling and expand this further internationally."

He adds: "Once fully established, the YATOP and Framerate agreements are expected to generate combined recurring revenue of approximately USD1.3 million annualised, without requiring capital investment or fixed-cost commitments from PowerPlay."
