Volex hails 'strong' first half, full-year expectations unchanged

Volex PLC said on Thursday it delivered a ‘strong’ first-half result and expects second-half revenues to be ‘broadly similar’.

The Hampshire, England-based maker of power and data transmission products said in its half-year trading statement that revenues are expected to exceed $575 million with organic revenue growth at least 11% for the six months ended September 30. The prior year, it achieved interim revenue of $518.2 million.

Shares in Volex rose 3.3% to 365.50 pence Thursday morning in London.

Volex said Complex Industrial Technology ‘grew significantly’ with data centre demand showing a very strong increase relative to the first-half of financial 2025.

The company said Off-Highway delivered strong growth and its Electric Vehicles grew ‘strongly’ year-on-year, while Medical demand was subdued.

Consumer Electricals revenue was similar to the second-half of financial 2025, but down on an organic basis.

In its trading statement, Volex said: ‘Structural demand in key markets, a diversified customer base, and continued investment in capability expansion underpin the group’s confidence in delivering strong returns for all stakeholders, despite a challenging macro-economic environment.

‘The board’s expectations for the full year remain unchanged.’

Volex said it expects to release its half-year results on November 12.
