I've been asked to send you documents - who can certify them?

We’ll ask you to send us certified documents if:

• You’re opening an account with us for the first time and we can't verify your identity or address
• You want to access your SIPP account (e.g. to take tax-free cash) and we need to verify your age
• You wish to change your name or date of birth

Your documents can be verified by someone in one of the professions below. They must not be a family member, living at the same address or in a relationship with you. They also can’t be a trainee in their profession.

The certifier must:

• Write ‘Certified by me’ on the document
• Sign and date the document
• Print their name under the signature
• Add their occupation, address and/or telephone number

Please scan and email the certified documents to administration@ajbell.co.uk if you wish to change your name or date of birth.
