accesso Technology reports IT security incident but trading in-line
accesso Technology Group PLC on Monday said it remains on track to meet its full-year targets, but also reported a cyberattack.
The Berkshire, England-based provider of software for the leisure, entertainment and cultural sectors said it has identified an IT security incident involving temporary unauthorised access to a limited part of its systems.
However, it said the incident has been contained, with no downtime or major disruption to its operations or services.
accesso said it enacted its incident response plan immediately, and has engaged external specialists to support its investigation, which remains ongoing. It has also implemented workarounds and additional precautionary measures.
accesso currently views the risk of financial exposure from the attack as low, and that it has not identified any further suspicious activity.
The company also issued an update for the first six months of 2026, saying that trading during the period was resilient and in line with the board's expectations.
It cited "encouraging commercial momentum" across its growth initiatives, "early strategic progress" under new Chief Executive Officer Lee Cowie, and the benefit of cost efficiency measures implemented earlier in 2026.
accesso noted that it "is bringing its products together as a single, connected ecosystem," with "an increasing number of multi-product deals sold within a single commercial relationship" during the first half.
"Customers are responding positively to the simplicity of the proposition and the clearer return on investment it provides, giving us confidence in the opportunity to drive increased customer value, sustainable growth and margin improvement over time," Cowie commented.
accesso said it expects to report its half-year results on September 15.
Its outlook for the full year, meanwhile, remains unchanged. accesso expects revenue of approximately USD146 million and cash earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of approximately USD20 million.
The firm reiterated that its full-year expectations include a number of milestone-based revenues from Middle Eastern projects, especially in Saudi Arabia, of which around USD1.9 million is dependent on delivery in the second half.
The cyber incident does not impact accesso's view on its outlook, it noted.
accesso shares were down 1.5% at 314.80 pence on Monday afternoon in London.
