AVI Global Chair Graham Kitchen joins TR Property board
TR Property Investment Trust PLC on Tuesday said that AVI Global Trust PLC’s Graham Kitchen will join the company as a non-executive director.
Kitchen is currently non-executive chair of fellow FTSE 250 listing and London-based investment firm AVI Global, as well as non-executive senior independent director of Mercantile Investment Trust PLC.
Previously, he has served as non-executive director of Invesco Global Equity Income Trust PLC, and Global Head of Equities at Janus Henderson Investors, under which Janus Capital International Ltd trades.
He assumes the new role at real estate investor TR Property on May 1.
TR Property is also hiring Hannah Philp as an independent non-executive director from October 1.
Philp serves as a non-executive director at both Bankers Investment Trust PLC and JPMorgan UK Small Cap Growth & Income PLC.
In parallel, TR Property noted that Andrew Vaughan will step down after the firm’s annual general on July 23.
‘The board wishes to record its thanks to Mr Vaughan for his considerable contribution during his time on the board, as a result of his valuable pan-European property expertise,’ the company added.
TR Property shares rose 1.0% to 314.98 pence on Tuesday morning in London, while AVI Global traded 0.9% higher at 245.72p.
