IN BRIEF: Aberdeen Group senior director Asquith to be interim chair

Aberdeen Group PLC - Edinburgh-based wealth and asset management - Senior Independent Director Jonathan Asquith will take over as interim board chair until a permanent chair can be found. Last year, Aberdeen said Douglas Flint wouldn’t stand for chair at this year’s annual general meeting, which will be held on April 29. As a result, Flint will step down after a board meeting on April 28. While Asquith is interim chair, Non-Executive Director John Devine will act as senior independent director.

Current stock price: 187.60 pence, down 2.2% in London on Thursday
