Antofagasta PLC - London-based copper miner in Chile - Appoints former chief executive officer of Hochschild Mining PLC Ignacio Bustamante as an independent non-executive director from the start of July. Bustamente is currently head of base metals at Appian Capital Advisory LLP.

‘Following a comprehensive, externally facilitated search process, we are delighted that Ignacio has accepted our invitation to join the board. His broad mining experience in the Americas will be of great benefit to the company in the years ahead,’ says Chair Jean-Paul Luksic.
