Auction Technology Group PLC - London-based auction market operator - Hires Duncan Painter to be its new chief executive officer, effective Tuesday. Outgoing CEO John-Paul Savant will provide transitional support through the handover period, which ends on May 20. Savant’s departure was announced just over two weeks ago, having been in post for more than 10 years. Painter was chief executive of FTSE 250 constituent Ascential PLC from 2011 to 2024, becoming CEO of Omnicom Commerce, after the Digital Commerce division of Ascential was sold to Omnicom Group Inc.

Current stock price: 361.60 pence each, up 4.1% on Tuesday morning in London
