IN BRIEF: Celtic Manager Nancy leaves club after just eight games

Celtic PLC - Glasgow, Scotland-based football club - Manager Wilfried Nancy leaves the club immediately. Celtic are in a process of appointing a replacement manager and will release an update in due course. Nancy was appointed on a two-and-a-half year contract in December and had been in charge for eight games. His most recent was a 3-1 loss to Rangers, Celtic’s biggest rivals, on Saturday.

Celtic notes Paul Tisdale, the head of football operations, also leaves his position.

Current stock price: 191.08 pence each, down 4.0% on Monday afternoon in London
