IN BRIEF: Clarkson hires new CFO from BP as splits CFO and COO roles

Clarkson PLC - London-based shipping services company in business for just under 175 years - Hires Niamh Staunton to be chief financial officer. Staunton currently is with BP PLC and will join Clarkson later this year on a date to be confirmed. She will replace Jeff Woyda, who Clarkson previously said will step down as CFO and chief operating officer in September after 19 years with the company. Clarkson last month moved Harriet Oliver to chief operating officer from head of Human Resources. New CFO Staunton currently is senior vice president for Finance & Risk in the Supply, Trading & Shipping business of BP. She previously was the oil major’s group treasurer.
