IN BRIEF: Conduit appoints Postlewhite as chief underwriting officer

Conduit Holdings Ltd - Bermuda-based parent of reinsurance provider - Appoints Stephen Postlewhite as chief underwriting officer, effective January 26. Postlewhite has nearly 30 years of experience in the reinsurance and insurance industry, having held senior roles across underwriting, risk management and actuarial disciplines. He ‘will lead Conduit’s underwriting strategy and oversee portfolio performance across our Property, Casualty and Specialty segments. He will also be responsible for managing Conduit Re’s outwards reinsurance strategy,’ Conduit says. Postlewhite joins from McGill & Partners, where he served as partner and head of Capital Solutions. Before that, he was managing director & global chief underwriting officer at QBE Re.

Chief Executive Officer Neil Eckert says: ‘His deep technical expertise and proven leadership in strategic underwriting across global reinsurance and insurance markets will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our underwriting capabilities.
