IN BRIEF: Experian names BT Chair Adam Crozier as own new chair

Experian PLC - Dublin-based consumer credit checker - Hires Adam Crozier as an independent non-executive director and chair designate. Crozier, the former chief executive of television broadcaster ITV PLC and current chair of telecommunications provider BT Group PLC, will join the Experian board on May 12 and replace Mike Rogers as chair at the Experian annual general meeting on July 22. Rogers will leave the board, having served for nine years, including seven as chair. Experian had announced Rogers’s departure back in January. The company continues to be led by Brian Cassin as CEO. The search for a new chair was led by Alison Brittain, the former CEO of Whitbread PLC, as senior independent director.

Crozier also is chair of market research firm Kantar. He was CEO of ITV for seven years until 2017, prior to which he was CEO of Royal Mail PLC and joint CEO at advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi. BT notes the announcement by Experian and says Crozier continues as BT chair.
