IN BRIEF: Griffin Mining names Santchurn as CFO as Goodwin steps down
Griffin Mining Ltd - China-focused mining company - appoints Asha Santchurn as chief financial officer with effect from October 1, following Roger Goodwin's decision to step down as finance director. Goodwin remains a director and company secretary. Santchurn joins from BDO LLP, where she is an audit director specialising in the natural resources and energy sector, advising listed and private mining, oil and gas companies operating across China, Africa and the Middle East.
Chair Mladen Ninkov says: "Needless to say, this is a difficult personal moment for me in the history of the company. Of course I understand the need for lifting the proverbial foot off the accelerator, but it will be strange not to have Roger so intricately involved on a day-to-day basis, as he has been for 30 years."
