IN BRIEF: Hargreaves Services "delighted" to win Sizewell C contract
Hargreaves Services PLC - Durham, England-based provider of services for environmental, infrastructure and property sectors - Announces its selection by Sizewell C Ltd to design, procure, manufacture, test and commission three foul water treatment facilities needed for the Sizewell C nuclear power project's construction. Expects to deliver the contract over two years, starting in early 2027. Hargreaves says the win "further strengthens [its] position within the UK infrastructure and energy sectors". Expects it to contribute revenue, and to underpin existing revenue and underlying pretax profit forecasts, for the years ending May 31, 2027 and 2028, and says it provides additional visibility over its medium-term workload and order book. Cites market consensus of £292.1 million in revenue and £17.9 million in underlying pretax profit for financial 2027, and of £305.2 million in revenue and £18.6 million in profit for financial 2028.
"We are delighted to have been selected by Sizewell C for this critical aspect of the wider nuclear project," comments Chief Executive Simon Hicks. "The award reflects the growing strength of our engineering and project delivery capabilities and further demonstrates our ability to support nationally significant clean energy and infrastructure developments across the UK."
