IN BRIEF: Henry Boot says Hallam Land managing director to step down

Henry Boot PLC - Sheffield, England-based property development, home building and construction company - Says Nick Duckworth will step down from his role as managing director at Hallam Land, the group’s land promotion business. The process to identify his successor has already begun, and Duckworth will remain with the company until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition. Duckworth first joined the business in 1992, holding a number of positions before becoming managing director in 2016.

Duckworth says: ‘After 33 years at Hallam Land, I’ve decided that the time is right to step down. Since becoming managing director, I am proud to have played a key role in the success of the business, growing the land bank to over 100,000 residential plots and completing on the sale of over 24,000 plots. I leave the business well positioned with a very capable team focused on accelerating projects and planning applications to deliver much-needed homes across the country. Following a short break my intention is to establish a strategic land advisory consultancy.’
