IN BRIEF: Iomart names Matt Waymark as next chief financial officer

Iomart Group PLC - Glasgow, Scotland-based cloud computing and IT-managed services provider - Appoints Matthew 'Matt' Waymark as its incoming chief financial officer, with effect from September 14. Previously, it announced in February that former CFO Scott Cunningham would step down in June, to assume a new role at a private company. Iomart describes Waymark as "an accomplished executive finance leader with a proven track record in driving business strategy and transformation in both large listed and small start-up businesses." Notes that he was previously CFO at a banking start-up, and that he has also served in various roles at NatWest Group PLC, including as finance director of its Commercial & Institutional Division.

"We are pleased to welcome Matt to Iomart as our new chief financial officer," comments Executive Chair Richard Last. "Matt was selected following a thorough and rigorous process, and the board is confident that his experience and financial leadership will be a significant asset as we continue to execute our strategy and deliver value for shareholders."

Current stock price: 14.41 pence, up 1.9% on Friday in London
