IN BRIEF: Irish Residential appoints RTE's Mari Hurley as incoming CFO

Irish Residential Properties REIT PLC - Dublin-based private rental accommodation provider - Chief Financial Officer Brian Fagan will retire this summer after nearly five years with the company. He will be succeeded by Mari Hurley, currently CFO of Ireland’s state broadcaster RTE, who will join first as CFO-designate before formally taking over upon Fagan’s departure. Hurley brings ‘extensive’ experience from senior finance roles across listed, private and semi-state organisations, including the AA (Ireland), Premier Lotteries Ireland, Hostelworld Group PLC where she was CFO for 11 years, and Sherry FitzGerald Group. CEO Eddie Byrne thanks Fagan for his ‘immense contribution’, citing his work on internalisation, finance transformation and long-term funding, and says Hurley’s broad track record will be a ‘significant and complementary addition’.
