IN BRIEF: Magnum Ice Cream US head buys over $600,000 in shares

Magnum Ice Cream Co NV - Amsterdam-based ice cream company spun off from Unilever PLC and owner of Magnum, Ben & Jerry’s and Cornetto brands - Gerardo Rozanski, president of the Americas, buys 40,000 shares at average $15.01 on Wednesday, worth $600,431. It follows yesterday’s notification of a purchase of over $900,000, and is part of an effort by Magnum directors to buy company shares which began last month.

Current stock price: 1,153.00 pence, up 2.5% on Wednesday afternoon in London; up 2.6% at €13.28 in Amsterdam

12-month change: up 2.4% from €12.80 IPO price in Amsterdam in December
