IN BRIEF: Mark Bridgeman starts role as chair at Invesco Bond Income

Invesco Bond Income Plus Ltd - Oxfordshire, England-based investment firm focused on high-yield bonds - Confirms Mark Bridgeman has started his role of chair, succeeding Tim Scholefield. In April, the company announced that Scholefield would not stand for re-election at the firm’s annual general meeting, which was held Wednesday.

Invesco Bond Income Plus says: ‘Mark brings a wealth of investment and investment trust experience, gained through his extensive executive career at Schroders as both a fund manager and latterly as head of Research, as well as through his non-executive roles. He is currently chair of Utilico Emerging Markets Trust PLC and has previously served as a director of JPMorgan Brazil Investment Trust PLC, BlackRock Emerging Europe PLC and The Law Debenture Corporation PLC.’
