IN BRIEF: MTI Wireless Edge wins $1.0 million irrigation system deal

MTI Wireless Edge Ltd - Israel-based communication and radio frequency technology company - Says subsidiary Mottech Water Solutions Ltd has won a ‘significant’ contract worth around €1.0 million from an unnamed, long-term customer in Italy, to be delivered within 2025. The contract is in its first phase and involves the renewal and expansion of an irrigation system initially installed 15 years prior, which will distribute water across an expanded area of agricultural land to grow citrus fruits. MTI expects the contract to be renewed following the completion of the first phase.

‘We are extremely proud of this order, as this is an extensive project with a large water consortium in Italy with whom we have worked for many years,’ says MTI Chief Executive Officer Moni Borovitz.
