IN BRIEF: Raspberry Pi hires former London Stock Exchange exec as CFO

Raspberry Pi Holdings PLC - Cambridge, England-based maker of low-cost computer boards - Hires Tim Powell to be chief financial officer and executive director, starting October 16. Powell was CFO of Alpha Group International PLC, which was listed on AIM and then the London Main Market before being acquired by Corpay Inc in November last year. Prior to Alpha Group, Powell worked at London Stock Exchange Group PLC, including as CFO of the London Stock Exchange. He was the finance lead on LSEG's USD27 billion acquisition of Refinitiv in 2021. At Raspberry Pi, he replaces Richard Boult, whose departure was announced last year. He will step down on October 31. "The team has a clear vision and purpose," Powell says of Raspberry Pi, "and I look forward to contributing my experience from scaling international businesses to support the company's next phase of growth."
