Science Group PLC - Cambridge, England-based science and technology consultancy - Executive Chair Martyn Ratcliffe sells 1.5 million shares at 550 pence each, for £8.0 million in total, on Thursday in London. Company says the transaction is ‘in order to provide liquidity to satisfy institutional demand’. Ratcliffe retains an 18.2% stake, comprising 8.0 million shares. Science Group says it ‘is pleased to welcome a number of new institutional shareholders’, as the ‘broader shareholder base’ strengthens its platform for the next phase of development.

Current stock price: 556.20p, down 0.7% on Friday

12-month change: up 14%
