IN BRIEF: Softcat extends Graeme Watt's chairmanship up to April 2030

Softcat PLC - Marlow, England-based provider of IT infrastructure products - Extends chairmanship of Graeme Watt up to April 2030. He served as chief executive officer from April 2018 until July 2023, and became chair in August 2023. Softcat says the extension, "being three years beyond the nine years recommended by the UK Corporate Governance Code, is based on the board's unanimous view that the extension is in the best interests of all shareholders given Graeme's extensive experience of the sector, as well as the independent challenge he continues to provide in chairing the board's oversight of the company's governance, strategy and execution."

Current stock price: 1,838.00 pence each, up 1.4% on Monday around noon in London
