IN BRIEF: TBC Bank moves investment bank chief to head of Georgia bank

TBC Bank Group PLC - Tbilisi-based lender in Georgia and Uzbekistan - Names George Tkhelidze as chief executive officer of its Georgian bank subsidiary JSC TBC Bank, saying this will allow group CEO Vakhtang Butskhrikidze to focus on strategy in Georgia, Uzbekistan and internationally. Tkhelidze has led JSC TBC Bank’s Corporate & Investment Banking and Wealth Management businesses since 2016, having joined in 2014 as chief risk officer. Meanwhile, Tornike Gogichaishvili, head of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Affluent Banking, will leave the company on March 1, TBC says.
