IN BRIEF: WPP's Chief Operating Officer Andrew Scott to retire

WPP PLC - London-based advertising agency - Chief Operating Officer Andrew Scott intends to retire at the end of the year, after 27 years with the company. Scott will work with incoming Chief Executive Officer Cindy Rose until his retirement and thereafter as a senior advisor ‘to transition his various roles and responsibilities to other senior executives as well as supporting strategy execution’, says WPP. Scott joined the firm as director of corporate development, before holding senior roles such as COO for Europe and then global COO from 2018.
