DIRECTOR DEALINGS: CEO sells PS6 million in shares back to Yu Group

The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Yu Group PLC - Nottingham, England-based gas and electricity supplier and smart meter installer - Chief Executive Officer Bobby Kalar exercises options over 309,168 shares and sells all of them back to the company at 1,906.0 pence, worth £5.9 million, on Thursday. Yu says it issues 195,926 new shares and transfers 113,242 from treasury to satisfy the options exercise, which is at an average price of 162.0p. The share repurchased from Kalar will be held in treasury. Kalar, who also is the company’s founder, now has 8.7 million Yu shares out of 17.2 million in issue for a 50.3% stake.

Tatton Asset Management PLC - Cheshire, England-based firm investment management and support services for independent financial advisors - CEO Paul Hogarth sells 100,000 shares at 700p, worth £700,000, on Thursday. Hogarth retains 9.0 million shares, a 14.7% stake.

Sage Group PLC - Newcastle upon Tyne, England-based accountancy software firm - Jillian Bates, associate of Non-Executive Director John Bates buys 35,000 shares at £8.09 to £8.11, worth £283,349, on Thursday.

Mitchells & Butlers PLC - Birmingham, England-based restaurant and pub operator - Andrew Freeman, general counsel and company secretary, sells 60,000 shares at 286.54p, worth £171,926, on Thursday.
