Ninety One PLC and Ltd - London and Cape Town-based money manager - Investment holding company Forty Two Point Two acquires a total of 161,513 shares in four transactions between September 28 and 30 at prices ranging from £2.0889 to £2.0984 per share. Forty Two Point Two is wholly owned by the Marathon Trust, whose beneficiaries include Ninety One directors Hendrik du Toit and Kim McFarland. The purchases comprise 24,688 shares on September 28, 103,664 shares across two transactions on September 29 and 33,161 shares on September 30.

SSE PLC - Perth, Scotland-based electricity generator - Managing Director for Regulation & Policy Samuel Peacock sells 2,650 shares at £24.67 each for a total consideration of £65,376 on Thursday.

Entain PLC - Isle of Man-based sports betting and gaming operator - Chief Financial Officer Michael Snape buys 24,013 shares at 416.42p each, worth around £100,000, on Thursday. Following the purchase, Snape holds 88,647 shares in the company.

Zommer's shares now represent around 8.4% of CML Microsystems' total voting rights.

Seplat Energy PLC - Nigeria-focused energy supplier - Heirs Energies Ltd, a company controlled by Seplat's NED Tony Elumelu buys 6.0 million shares at £8.87 each for a total consideration of £53.2 million on Wednesday. Entities controlled by Elumelu now hold around 21% of Seplat's voting rights.

On September 16 Mitie shareholders vote in favour of the company's takeover by OCS at a general meeting and court meeting.
