Ixico stock rises as forecasts full-year revenue and earnings beat

Ixico PLC on Tuesday said it expects to report market consensus-beating results for the year ended September 30.

In repsonse, shares in Ixico closed 15% higher at 8.95 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.

The London-based medical research company, which is focused on analysing trial data using neuroscience imaging and biomarkers, said revenue for the year stands at £8.3 million, up from £6.5 million the year before.

The latest year's figure was also above market expectations and its revenue guidance as of July 7, when it upgraded its forecast to £8.0 million from £7.5 million. Ixico cited "an acceleration in analysis orders during the final quarter".

Ixico also anticipates that its full-year earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation loss will "improve on market expectations". It said it is "increasing investment for growth," but still expects its revenue performance "to drive improved Ebitda versus existing guidance of a £1.7 million loss."

The company's order book totalled £16.0 million as of September 30, up from £13.8 million one year prior, "further improving revenue visibility, and prospects for future growth." Its total cash increased to £10.4 million from £3.5 million, reflecting a £9.4 million capital raise it completed in April.

Ixico said it expects to announce its full-year results in December.

"This has been a year of tremendous progress for Ixico," commented Chief Executive Officer Bram Goorden. "If FY25 was a year where the company returned to growth, FY26 saw clear acceleration of this trend thanks to disciplined execution of our strategy driving strong demand for our neuroimaging capabilities. We are winning new customers, expanding existing relationships and diversifying our business, while improving gross margins.

"Looking ahead, we are particularly excited by the opportunity to unlock the commercial potential of our IXI platform through our TechBio strategy. Supported by our recent fundraising and partnerships, we enter FY27 with strong momentum and confidence in our ability to deliver sustainable growth and create increased long-term shareholder value."
