Melrose says Ross McCluskey to take on CFO role in May

Melrose Industries PLC on Tuesday said Ross McCluskey will be appointed as the company’s chief financial officer on May 5.

He will replace current CFO Matthew Gregory, who will step down from those roles on the same day but will remain with the company until the end of November to help with the transition until his retirement. He announced his intention to retire this year in December.

McCluskey spent the past nine years at Intertek Group PLC, where he served as CFO from 2018 to 2021 before being promoted to one of the firm’s executive vice presidents.

Shares in Birmingham, England-based aerospace firm Melrose closed down 3.9% at 644.00 pence each on Tuesday in London.
