Pathos Communications hails "record" trading month in July
Pathos Communications PLC noted "record" monthly revenue of more than USD1.8 million in July, giving the company optimism for the remainder of the current financial year.
The London-based public relations company said growth was driven by its enhanced sales team, which achieved a 30% higher new-client sign-up rate.
Pathos said it expects revenue of USD14.0 million and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of USD4.0 million. It said it remains confident of meeting these expectations.
In June, the company said it delivered a positive first half, which "highlighted a period of strong delivery" as revenue, profit and cash receipts all increased.
Chief Executive Officer Omar Hamdi said: "We are delighted with the continued momentum in the business as the investments we have made start to deliver. We continue to be focused and disciplined in growing the business; we note the recent decline in share price and based on company trading and prospects know of no reason for it."
Shares in Pathos were up 6.1% at 24.93 pence each in London early on Monday afternoon.
