TRADING UPDATES: tinyBuild ‘confident’; Synectics wins deals
The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:
----------
tinyBuild Inc - Bellevue, Washington-based video game developer and publisher - Sales in the first five months of 2026 are ahead of expectations, tinyBuild says, but it notes the ‘industry backdrop remains difficult with few signs of modest improvement’. ‘All things considered, the board remains confident the company is on track to deliver results for 2026 at least in line with expectations,’ tinyBuild says. The firm says ‘positive momentum’ is evident in consumer wishlists on the Steam video games platform. This is a ‘one of the most important indicators for future sales’.
----------
Synectics PLC - Sheffield, England-based provider of advanced security and surveillance systems - Synectics receives £1.5 million worth of orders from transport firm Stagecoach. It explains £1.1 million stems from a recently extended five-year framework agreement systems integration subsidiary Ocular Integration has with Stagecoach. ‘These relate to the supply and installation of Ocular’s CCTV systems on 190 new electric buses being introduced into Stagecoach’s fleet. The systems will be installed on new factory-built vehicles, with the majority of work expected to be completed between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027, supporting Stagecoach’s ambition to operate a fully zero-emission bus fleet by 2035,’ Synectics says. In addition, it gets further orders totalling £400,000, outside the framework. This is for the retrofit of its CCTV systems on 71 buses.
----------
Corero Network Security PLC - London-based cybersecurity firm specialising in distributed denial of service protection - Corero wins a $1.1 million contract for its web application security offering with IT solutions TierPoint. The deal is for three years. ‘This agreement further strengthens Corero’s existing partnership with TierPoint, one of the world’s leading data centre providers,’ it adds.
----------
Anpario PLC - Nottinghamshire, England-based animal feed additive manufacturer - The firm hails a ‘good start’ to the year. Revenue and profit are ahead of a year prior and in line with consensus, ‘despite well-reported geopolitical and related economic conditions’, Chair Matthew Robinson says at Anpario’s annual general meeting. The chair adds: ‘We are particularly encouraged by a strong trading performance in the Middle-East, including the first sales of our new product, AmpLIPhy. Growth has also continued at pace in the US across both the Bio-Vet and Anpario product ranges, as well as in Australasia. Following the onset of recent disruptions, the group initially absorbed increases in logistics costs for goods in transit, but ongoing higher costs have since largely been passed on to our customers in accordance with our terms of trade. We have also experienced some raw material price inflation, particularly in our acid-based eubiotic range, which represents around 20% of sales, for which we have responded in a disciplined manner through targeted price rises. These actions are mitigating the external cost pressures, with gross margins in the first half of the year consistent with the second half of 2025.’ Consensus for 2026 revenue stands at £50.3 million. Consensus for adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation stands at £10.3 million. Anpario reports half-year results on September 9.
----------
Time Out Group PLC - London-based global media and hospitality business - It signs an agreement with Giunina LLC for the development and operation of Time Out Market Brazil. Giunina is a firm established by ‘hospitality and entertainment executive Benjamin Ramalho’. ‘The agreement will bring Time Out Market to South America, with a location in Sao Paulo expected to open in the first quarter of 2027. The project is expected to become a significant addition to Sao Paulo’s food and cultural landscape, serving both residents and visitors in South America’s largest metropolis,’ Time Out says.
----------
Ondine Biomedical Inc - Vancouver-based antimicrobial therapies developer - Ondine reports that Leeds Teaching Hospitals using Steriwave before ‘complex brain surgery’ led to a just under 79% reduction in surgical site infections when compared to standard 5-day antibiotic nasal treatment. Ondine reports there were no cases of meningitis.
----------
Regional REIT Ltd - London-based real estate investment trust focused on commercial property outside the M25 motorway - It has sealed two new leases in a previously vacant office space to an electronics manufacturer. The space is at One and Two Newstead Court, Nottingham. The occupier takes a 20-year lease. It is for a £1.1 million annual rent with five yearly retail price index rent reviews. ‘The offices have been rented in an unrefurbished condition, with the tenant undertaking substantial improvement works at a cost in the region of £5 million,’ Regional REIT says.
