Tristel raises final dividend following further revenue growth
Tristel PLC said it traded in line with expectations as it reported double-digit annual revenue growth, raising its final dividend.
The Cambridge-based disinfectant and decontamination medical devices producer reported a pretax profit for the year ended June 30 of £11.0 million, up 31% from £8.4 million.
Revenue rose 10% to £51.1 million from £46.5 million.
Tristel said sales of its medical device business, which rose 11% in the year, primarily drove revenue growth. Overseas markets made up 64% of revenue.
Tristel declared a final total dividend for financial 2026 of 14.91 pence, rising 5% from 14.20p the previous.
Looking ahead, the company said it has identified North America as a key growth opportunity, following US Food & Drug Administration clearance of two disinfectants: Ult for ultrasound probes and OPH for ophthalmic devices.
Non-Executive Chair Bruno Holthof said: "The board remains confident that the group’s differentiated technology, predominantly consumables based revenue model and significant geographic opportunity provide a strong platform for sustained profitable growth. Our priorities are clear and we will continue to balance investment in those opportunities with disciplined execution and cash generation."
Shares in Tristel were down 1.2% to 425.00 pence per share on Monday morning in London.
